Trash
Deleted Canvas files move to Trash instead of being removed immediately. You can restore a file or permanently delete it before the 30-day retention period ends.
Where to find Trash
Open Trash from the bottom of the workspace sidebar. Files are ordered by deletion date, with the most recently deleted file first.
The list shows workspace Canvas files you can still access and your own files from Private. Each item shows who deleted it and when. Deleted cards cannot be opened or edited from Trash.

Access and permissions
When one member restores or permanently deletes a workspace Canvas, the change also appears for other members who could see that file in Trash.
What happens to related records
Moving a Canvas to Trash removes it from search, recent files, and shared lists. It does not change generation History or credit records.
Permanently deleting the Canvas keeps its individual generation results in History, but Open Source Canvas is no longer available.
Note
Trash does not currently support search, filters, bulk actions, folder restoration, or Empty Trash.
