Plan changes
Monthly → higher monthly (upgrade)
Refill grant = upper plan's Monthly credit grant − Balance
Additional charge for the current month = (Refill grant ÷ upper plan's Monthly credit grant) × upper plan's Monthly list price (rounded down to the nearest won)
From your next billing date, the full monthly price of the new plan applies.
Monthly → lower monthly (downgrade)
The lower plan's monthly price applies from the moment you change. No separate proration for the current month.
Annual → higher annual (upgrade)
Billing date and renewal date are preserved.
Difference grant = upper plan's Monthly credit grant − current plan's Monthly credit grant
Charge for the current month = Difference grant × upper plan's Credit unit price
Remaining-months charge = Months remaining × (upper plan's Monthly-equivalent discounted price − current plan's Monthly-equivalent discounted price)
Additional charge = Charge for the current month + Remaining-months charge (rounded down to the nearest won)
Annual → lower annual (downgrade)
Existing-plan remaining refund = current plan's Monthly-equivalent discounted price × Months remaining
Lower-plan remaining charge = lower plan's Monthly-equivalent discounted price × Months remaining
Refund = Existing-plan remaining refund − Lower-plan remaining charge − Discount clawback
If the refund would be 0 or less, you cannot downgrade at this time. A notice explains why, and the current plan stays active.
Monthly → annual, higher tier
Refill grant = upper plan's Monthly credit grant − Balance
Charge for the current month = Refill grant × upper plan's Credit unit price
Remaining-months charge = upper plan's Monthly-equivalent discounted price × 11
Additional charge = Charge for the current month + Remaining-months charge (rounded down to the nearest won)
Monthly → annual, same or lower tier
Scheduled to bill as the annual plan on the next billing date.
Annual → monthly
No immediate switch or proration. You'll be directed to the refund process when you try to change your plan. Annual subscription refund rules apply.
